Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri
Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri is situated outside the palace of Alwar. It was worked by Vinay Singh in the memory of Alwar’s ruler, Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh and his ruler, Rani Moosi who conferred ‘sati’ (self immolation on her better half’s fire). This wonderful cenotaph shields the tomb of the ruler and the ruler and the whole chhatri upheld pillared sandstone.
